You get the urge to go somewhere for the weekend, and suddenly you're deep into Skyscanner, Booking.com, Google, TripAdvisor, and an hour later you've got 50 tabs open and still no trip booked. I got so tired of that cycle that I stopped taking trips I otherwise would have.

What really bothered me was that I was only ever looking at places I already knew about. There were probably dozens of destinations I'd actually love, but no way to find them without doing all the research myself.

I spent most of my career building products around this kind of problem. Innovation programs at Cisco, startups at BCG Digital Ventures. So when I found myself living this one every month, I just built it myself.
